Welcome to KIS Reignwood Park

Dear Families, 

I am honored to be writing as the Founding Head of School at KIS International School, Reignwood Park. As you will learn on our website, we are embarking on a great adventure to offer an unparalleled educational experience for day and boarding students to the north of central Bangkok.  

KIS Reignwood Park is a Candidate School* for the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme, Middle Years Programme, Diploma Programme and Career-related Programme. Our school is pursuing authorization as an IB World School. These are schools that share a common philosophy—a commitment to high quality, challenging, international education that KIS Reignwood Park believes is important for our students. 

KIS Reignwood Park is built upon the academic excellence and traditions established by our sister school, KIS International School Bangkok, which has been educating children through the IB programmes for more than 25 years. KIS International School Bangkok has an international reputation as a school that is truly community centered and whose students consistently achieve excellent IB Diploma results. Our students will benefit from the wealth of knowledge and expertise from KIS Bangkok, combined with our unique learning environment of our new world-class 60-acre Reignwood Park campus. We are fortunate to have fantastic state-of-the-art facilities for a range of sports and the arts and dedicated buildings for Early Years, Primary and Secondary children in a healthy and safe fresh-air environment. The opportunities for student growth and development offered by our day and boarding program are exceptional.  

The 2023-24 Academic Year marks the pre-opening of our school, and our Senior Leadership and Founding Team has already been recruited to establish the systems that will ensure the well-being of everyone in our community. We have completed our recruitment of experienced IB educators, which is extremely exciting for us because we know that high quality teachers are the most influential factors in a child’s education. We are delighted to announce that over 60% of our teachers hold Master Degrees or higher and over 90% have over 10 years international teaching experience.

Our experienced team is thrilled to be part of building an international school that will be accredited by the Council of International Schools (CIS) and authorized in all four International Baccalaureate (IB) programmes. We will also be licensed by the Thai Ministry of Education and become an active member of the International Schools Association of Thailand (ISAT). Additionally, we are creating a Golf Development Academy, a comprehensive outdoor education programme, and many other exciting initiatives.  

Throughout my professional career, I have worked in IB World Schools around the world, including schools with thriving boarding programs. I have been attracted to these types of schools because they truly are student-centered and focus on the development of the whole child. It is a privilege to be launching an international school based on these principles in Thailand and I look forward to connecting with the families as we start our on-campus tours in February.
